Above I have picked a grade level of my choice and also one TEK . It explains some standard detail about the grade level and what they are expected to learn and accomplish. As an 8th grade teacher I would ensure that my students do apply what they know by manipulating technology. I would give them opportunities to do projects, profolios, and technology based things. Also teach them how to save things to thier computers , or email . Also instruct them how to use flashdrives for convenience. When I was in the 8th grade , my Science and English teacher made sure we participated in the Science Fair , and did research on books that we read and also it followed with a powerpoint presentation. As a teacher, I would do alot of hands on things with my students like my teachers done with me. I'm a firm believer that it is easier and enjoyable to learn in that manner. As a student , I looked at the task ahead as being overwhelming but when I began to research and become more knowledgeable about the topic I began to enjoy the process. I would most definitely be the teacher that presenst the information to the students in a simple and easy manner. Applying what you know is the most effective when learning and giving the students to understand information from their perspective.
